SubShoot

Effective: July 23, 2026

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SubShoot (“we,” “us”), a venture of VIS Mountain, collects on subshoot.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions any time: hello@subshoot.com.

Information you give us

When you submit a form on SubShoot — joining as a pro, claiming a listing, contacting a professional, applying to a gig, or contacting us — we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, city, specialty, portfolio or website links, and your message. We use it to provide the service you asked for: creating or updating your profile, delivering your inquiry or application to its recipient, and responding to you.

Directory listings

SubShoot includes business listings compiled from publicly available business information (such as business name, category, website, and service area). These are clearly marked as unverified until claimed by the owner. If a listing is about your business and you want it updated or removed, email us and we will act promptly on owner requests.

Information collected automatically

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (pages visited, country, device type). It does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. Our hosting providers keep standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and reliability.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • The recipient you direct it to (e.g. your inquiry goes to that professional);
  • Service providers that run our infrastructure — hosting and analytics (Vercel), database (Prisma Postgres), email delivery and forwarding (FormSubmit, Cloudflare) — only as needed to operate the site;
  • Authorities, if required by law.

Retention and your rights

We keep form submissions for as long as needed to operate the service. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@subshoot.com. We honor applicable rights under GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing (we don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it).

Children

SubShoot is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, note the change on the site.
