Terms of Service

SubShoot is a directory and networking platform that connects clients with photography, videography, editing, and studio professionals, and lets professionals subcontract work to each other. We are a venue: we are not a party to any engagement, contract, or payment between users, and we do not currently process payments.

The service is in early access. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and profile management is partly handled by our team.

Directory listings may be compiled from publicly available business information and are marked unverified until claimed by their owner. Rates, availability, and other profile details are provided by the professionals themselves; we don't guarantee their accuracy. Business owners may claim, correct, or request removal of their listing at any time via hello@subshoot.com.

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile details, rates, portfolio links, messages, reviews). You grant us a license to host and display it as part of operating the service. You're responsible for having the rights to what you submit and for its accuracy.

• No false, misleading, or impersonating profiles, claims, or reviews;
• No scraping, spamming, or interfering with the service;
• No unlawful, infringing, or harmful content or conduct;
• Reviews must reflect genuine completed work between the parties.

We may remove content or restrict access for violations.

Bookings, subcontracts, deliverables, and payments are agreed directly between users. We don't vet, endorse, or guarantee any user, and we're not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any engagement. Tier badges reflect activity on SubShoot, not a guarantee of performance.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Questions: hello@subshoot.com.
